Pillows of Grey is about three big life defining issues in life. I think this song reminds me I am not defined by the things that have happened to me but rather by the choices I have made to grow beyond & despite the circumstances that were out of my control. It's a scenerio that many know but what I and many others have learnt through overcoming is that it's not where how you start the journey but it's how you finish it that is most important.
